YOULES MOTORCYCLES MANCHESTER
JOB TITLE: CLOTHING / SHOWROOM SALES ASSISTANT
RESPONSIBLE TO: THE MANAGER
This is a full time position and your main focus will be to ensure that customers in the shop are receiving attention from the relevant personnel.
Your responsibilities will be to sell fashion and protective clothing. You will also be required to ensure that items are merchandised correctly and that stock levels are adequate.
You will be available to assist both our parts counter and service reception particularly at busy periods. When the shop is quiet there will be many duties that we will require your assistance with such as stock taking contacting customers regarding service reminders and general housekeeping.
Good customer facing skills are essential and the ability to be a good communicator on both the telephone and in person. We have a highly motivated team that you will be expected to compliment and help maintain our high levels of customer satisfaction.
We will give training in the use of our Dealer Management Software and you will perform simple ordering and over the counter sales procedures. Including the administration connected with the booking in and out of demonstrators.
It is desirable that you have knowledge of the motorcycle market and a full motorcycle licence, however this is not essential.
Although knowledge of our dealer management software is not necessary a level of computer literacy will be an advantage.
Remuneration will be a basic of £7.00 hour plus 3% of the net sales price on clothing personal accessories and helmets sold.
Some flexibility will exist in regards to working hours. Initially working 9.00 hrs to 18.00 hrs Monday Wednesday Thursday Friday and 9.00hrs to 17.00hrs on a Saturday
We intend to be open on Sundays in the near future and an alternative rota will be created at this point.
